Targeting civilians — details of today's Russian attack on Odesa

"Russian terrorists launched a rocket attack on the center of Odesa. There are casualties. Civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, has been damaged," he wrote.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already responded to the shelling of Odesa.
"The occupiers are attacking the regions of Ukraine. A rescue operation is underway after a missile strike in Kharkiv. So far, 19 people have been reported injured. Dozens of attack drones attacked Zaporizhzhia. A child is injured. Odesa was attacked, there are damages due to the fall of rocket fragments. And this is just one day of Russian terror against Ukraine," the Head of State noted.
The President emphasized that Russia's attacks on Ukrainian lives can be stopped by pressure, sanctions, blocking the occupiers' access to components used to create weapons, and arms packages for Ukraine.
Odesa under fire
As a reminder, the air raid alert in Odesa was announced at 9:32 am. A reconnaissance drone was moving toward the city. Odesa residents heard an explosion, and the mayor's office reported that air defense was targeting the drone. A short time later, the Air Force warned of a ballistic missile heading toward Odesa. A loud explosion was heard in the city.
