In recent days, information has been circulating that Russia is planning a new offensive in the south. Zaporizhzhia is allegedly the target of the Russians. However, Ukraine believes that this is more about creating information hype than about the enemy's real plans.

Serhii Bratchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army South, told Novyny.LIVE.

According to the spokesperson, the "offensive on Zaporizhzhia" is mainly happening in the information field. It is the work of Russian psychological operations (PSYOPS) and war correspondents. While enemy groups in this direction have indeed become more active, it is not accurate to speak of a large-scale offensive.

"There is corresponding activity in these areas — for example, in the Pridniprovskyi sector, the Vremivskyi bridgehead, and Zaporizhzhia," said Serhii Bratchuk.

According to him, the enemy is forming assault groups from the units already present in the occupying forces.

"The situation is under control, as much as it can be controlled during a war. The coming days and weeks will provide many answers to many important questions," said Serhii Bratchuk.

It should be noted that the British publication The Economist reported on Russia preparing a new offensive on Zaporizhzhia.

Additionally, it became known that the Russian fleet has completely left Crimea. A military expert also analyzed the direction in which the Russians may deploy North Korean soldiers.
