Unique operation — a major strike on Crimea occupiers

The maritime drones of the Security Service of Ukraine practiced on Russian aircraft and boats in the Kerch Bay. The enemy suffered significant losses in men and equipment. The operation also slowed down the repair of the Crimean bridge.

Night battle

A group of SBU Sea Baby maritime drones attacked Russian helicopters, airplanes and Raptor patrol boats that were trying to intercept the drones. This was made possible by large-caliber machine guns with ballistic programs for automatic target acquisition and auto-guidance installed on Ukrainian UAVs.

"The Russian pilots considered themselves hunters and expected an easy hunt, but they became prey because the maritime drones returned fire," the SBU said.

Enemy losses

According to the Security Service of Ukraine, there are dead and wounded on board the helicopters. The helicopters themselves were heavily damaged and need major repairs. In addition, the drones hit a barge transporting military equipment and equipment for the restoration of the Crimean bridge.

Sea Baby drones can carry a variety of weapons, including multiple launch rocket systems, flying drones, and large-caliber machine guns.

"The most important is that it has once again proved its effectiveness. There are actually much more results of our work than we can show now, but everything comes in due time," the 13th Main Directorate of the SBU Military Counterintelligence Department said.

It should be noted that the water drones were manufactured as a result of a joint fundraiser with UNITED24, monobank, Oleh Horokhovskyi, Serhii Sternenko, and Ihor Lachen in February this year.
