The auction for the sale of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi seaport has finally been held. The winner was a Kyiv-based company. Previously, twelve attempts to sell the company had failed.

This was reported by Oksana Kiktenko, Director of the port.

"We hope for the successful completion of privatization and the beginning of a new history of the enterprise," she wrote.

What we know about the winner

The only participant in the auction was TOP-OFFER LLC. This company was founded in December 2023, with an authorized capital of UAH 1 million. The company is engaged in the leasing and operation of real estate. The company's founder and owner is Yevhen Bohuslavskyi.

What was sold

The port's property complex covers an area of 64.4 hectares in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Zatoka. It includes, among other things, 9 vessels, 47 vehicles, 18 portal cranes and 4 diesel locomotives. It should be noted that the port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi has a shallow depth of approaching cargo, so it specializes in handling small vessels. The port mainly handles timber, fertilizers, iron ore pellets, metal products and grain. In addition to the port itself, the winner of the auction will also receive its tax and salary arrears.

Thirteen attempts

The first auction for the sale of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port took place on March 3, 2023. However, there were no takers for the property complex. Ukrdoninvest won the second auction, but a month later it refused to pay for the purchase. Four more auctions were held in the summer of 2023.

In the spring of this year, the port was put up for sale twice, and again unsuccessfully. Finally, in the fall, the auction was canceled three times.
