Another strike on Chornomorsk — details and photos of the aftermath

Last night, Russian drones attacked Chornomorsk again. Residential buildings were hit. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Scale of destruction

This morning, utility workers are operating in Chornomorsk, while a special commission is assessing the damage to compensate the affected residents.

"We estimated that 400 windows were broken in people's homes alone. There are also two roofs in the private sector that have been destroyed," says Vasyl Huliaiev, the Mayor.

According to the mayor, charitable organizations provide great assistance to city services. Their representatives were among the first to arrive at the scene and continue to help the victims.

What is known about the shelling

On the night of October 9, the enemy attacked Odesa region with drones. Sixteen drones were shot down by air defense forces. Due to the attack, residential buildings, an unfinished construction, and a medical facility were damaged.

Five people were wounded. Three of them were hospitalized. Doctors assess their condition as moderately serious.
