The sea corridor has been successfully operating for over a year, despite Russia's attacks. Therefore, the occupiers are trying to block it by attacking port infrastructure and civilian vessels.

Oleh Kiper, the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, told about this on Novyny.LIVE.

What the head of the region said

Oleh Kiper reminded that the Ukrainian sea corridor has been operating for 14 months, and its operation is ensured by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. That is why the enemy does not shy away from either military operations or economic efforts to eliminate it.

"I believe that it (the sea corridor — Novyny.LIVE) is still working successfully. Today, we can see that the enemy intentionally wants this corridor, the logistics hub — Odesa region is the only one in Ukraine so far in the absence of ports in other regions — to be blocked in order to economically hit the country," the head of the Regional Military Administration said.

As a reminder, Oleh Kiper told what he considers an adequate response to Russian attacks on the ports of Greater Odesa.

Also, fraudsters hiding behind the name of Oleh Kiper have become more active in the Odesa region.
