The investor who purchased the Bilhorod-Dniester seaport in the Odesa region plans to restore the bridge across the Dniester Estuary. Previously, this bridge was repeatedly shelled by the Russians.

This was stated in an interview with LIGA by the representative of the company that won the privatization auction "Top-Offer", lawyer Yevgenyi Boguslavskyi.

The plans of buyer

According to the lawyer, his company represents the interests of the investor, who has not yet disclosed information about himself. However, the future owner has ideas on how to revive the port.

"He did not share all his plans with me. But regarding the bridge, I can say that he will restore it. It will not be this year, because not everything will be done at once," Yuriy Boguslavskyi said.

Mysterious investor

The lawyer noted that he had a non-disclosure agreement with the investor. Therefore, he refused to disclose the details of the privatization. Yuriy Boguslavskyi also did not talk about where the money for the purchase of the port came from. At the same time, he promised that the name of the new owner would be announced within a month.

Let us recall that the first auction for the sale of the Bilhorod-Dniester seaport was held in March 2023. But it was possible to sell the property complex only on the thirteenth attempt. According to the director of the company, although the port is in good condition, potential buyers were deterred by the shallow depth of the approach channel.
