The Russian dictator should consider the proposal of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the grain corridor in the Black Sea. The leaders of the two countries discussed the possible involvement of the Russian Federation at the BRICS summit.

According to Erdoğan, the conversation focused on the full restoration of civil shipping and demining of the Black Sea.

"I see that President Putin strives for peace and is ready to consider our proposals in order to reach a common goal more quickly. This is what our delegations agreed on during the BRICS," the Turkish President noted.

At the same time, Putin said that he would familiarize himself with the proposals of the Turkish side, but "taking into account the realities on the ground."

Prisoner Release

The Turkish President also said that work is continuing to release Ukrainian prisoners from Russian captivity. Their country is acting as a mediator in this.

"In addition to activating the Black Sea Grain Initiative and demining, during our meeting yesterday with Putin and his delegation, we also discussed expectations regarding the prisoner exchange. We are currently closely monitoring the steps regarding the prisoner exchange," Erdoğan concluded.

It should be reminded, that UN Secretary-General António Guterres accepted the invitation of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and attended the BRICS summit in Kazan.

We also wrote, as reported by the AP, that Chinese leader Xi Jinping plans to meet with Vladimir Putin in October and participate in the BRICS summit in Kazan.
