Ten people were injured, nine of them were hospitalized. According to doctors, four of the victims are in serious condition.

Rescue operation

According to Maryna Averina, a spokeswoman for the State Emergency Service, rescuers had a very difficult time. They did not even have accurate information about how many people were in the destroyed building. In addition, the air raid alarm sounded again as the injured were being brought down from the second floor. Since the State Emergency Service had already lost rescuers and equipment in repeated strikes, it was necessary to evacuate immediately.

"There was not enough space. There were a lot of people, panic, everyone was screaming, and it made it very difficult to work," says Maryna Averina.

Night attack

On the evening of October 10, a loud explosion rang in Odesa. The enemy attacked the region with a ballistic missile. For the time being, it was an Iskander-M.

Law-enforcement agencies are recording the consequences of another Russian crime against civilians. The preliminary investigation into the criminal case of violation of the laws and customs of war has been opened.

As a reminder, a day of mourning was declared today in the Odesa region in memory of the victims of the Russian shelling on October 9.  Eight people were killed in that attack.

Also in Odesa, saboteurs who set fire to the city on the orders of the Russian special services will be tried.
