Russian attack on Odesa — many dead and wounded

A Russian strike on Odesa on November 18 damaged residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. There are reports of dead and wounded.

This was reported by Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov.

What is known

According to the mayor, eight people were killed in the attack. There are also many wounded. Rescuers are extinguishing fires in residential buildings.

The Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that 18 people were injured. There is one child among the injured. Four people are in serious condition.

MP Oleksii Honcharenko said that the enemy attacked the city with two missiles, one of which did not explode.

"Another rocket that didn't explode is right in the building of one of Odesa's educational institutions," said Oleksii Honcharenko.

On the afternoon of November 18, the enemy attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to preliminary information, these are Iskander missiles.

This is the second missile attack on Odesa in two days. Yesterday, Russians shelled energy facilities in the region, killing two people.
