Sweden will help Odesa survive the winter

The Swedish government has invested 28 million euros in an aid package for Ukraine. This money will be used to purchase generators and other equipment that should help the country survive the heating season.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Maria Malmer Stenergard, at a briefing in Odesa.

The head of Swedish diplomacy noted that the Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine had very serious consequences. After all, winter is coming and people feel unprotected.

"We will supply solar panels, generators and other products to support your critical and social infrastructure. Sweden has invested 28 million euros in this package," Maria Malmer Stenergard said.

The official also added that she would ask Sweden to help restore critical infrastructure in Odesa in the same way that Denmark is doing it in Mykolaiv.

It should be reminded that Ukraine will invite a monitoring mission of the International Maritime Organization to record crimes committed by the Russian Federation against port infrastructure and civilian vessels.
