Hazardous find — drone fragment was found in Odesa park

A passerby noticed an object resembling a drone fragment in one of the Odesa parks. The man immediately reported the find to law enforcement officers.

This was reported by the patrol police.

Explosives experts, rescuers, and an investigatory-operative group went to the scene. The dangerous object was seized.

According to eyewitnesses, this is Mark Twain Park (formerly Gorky Park).

What to do if you find ammunition

If you see an object that may be an explosive device, you should immediately call 101 or 102. You should wait for rescuers at a safe distance from the find. You should also warn people nearby, and if possible, mark or fence off the dangerous place.

It is strictly forbidden to:

•    come close to an explosive object;
•    lift, pull out of the ground, move, throw, hit and disassemble;
•    smoke and use open fire near the place where the dangerous object is;
•    bring objects that look like explosives to public places.

As a reminder, a fragment of a Russian missile fell on the roof of a house in Odesa. Previously, fragments of a downed drone were found right on the street in the city.
