During the Russian shelling on October 9, rescue equipment of the State Emergency Service in Odesa region was damaged. Fortunately, the employees themselves remained unharmed. 

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Odesa region on Thursday, October 10.

Intentional strike

According to the firefighters, Russians deliberately destroy equipment that eliminates the consequences of enemy attacks by launching repeated missile strikes.

"Fortunately, during the second attack on the port infrastructure, the rescuers managed to get to safety in time. Time was a matter of seconds," the statement said.

For several days, the enemy has been terrorizing Odesa region with drones and missiles. In particular, on the evening of October 9, the Russians once again attacked the port infrastructure. Eight people were killed in the attack.

Recall, doctors spoke about the condition of the wounded in Russian attack. The nature of the injuries indicates the use of cluster munitions by the enemy.

Also today, the Russians twice shelled Mykolaiv.
