A loud explosion rang out in Odessa
Russian troops do not stop shelling populated areas in Ukraine. An explosion was heard in Odesa, it was probably ballistics.
This was reported by the mayor of Odesa, Gennadiy Trukhanov.

In the evening of October 7, a few minutes after the announcement of the air alert, a loud explosion rang out in Odesa.
"An explosion was heard in the city," the mayor of Odesa wrote.
Trukhanov warned the residents of the region about the threat of ballistic missiles from Crimea. Residents of Odesa are asked to stay in shelters.
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced the threat of using ballistic weapons in areas where an air alert has been declared.
As of 7:58 p.m., an air alert has been issued in eight regions — the Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions remain under threat of strikes.
It should be recalled that on October 7, Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia region. Three workers were injured as a result of infrastructure objects being hit.
