The death of Valerii Trankovskyi, Chief of Staff of the Russian Black Sea Fleet missile ships, caused panic among the occupiers. Part of the fleet's leadership then moved to Novorossiysk.

This was reported by Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, on the We Are Ukraine TV channel.

They fled with their families

According to the spokesperson, it is impossible to say for sure where the fleet command is now, but it is clear that the officers are worried and eager to leave Crimea. Moreover, both the fleet and the personnel are actually in Novorossiysk.

"If I were them, I would be worried, of course. Of course, some part of the management team should be in Novorossiysk, just as some families of the military have actually moved to Novorossiysk by force," said Pletenchuk.

A serious loss for the occupiers

The Navy spokesman explained that the death of Valeriy Trankovskyi is a serious blow to the enemy. After all, the chief of staff is the person who manages all processes and on whom the entire structure actually rests.

"The commander makes fateful decisions, the overall strategy and tactics, but the chief of staff is responsible for all the staff work. This is a person who can be said to be irreplaceable," says Dmytro Pletenchuk.

He also emphasized that it would be difficult to find an equivalent replacement for Trankovsky due to the specifics of his work and the need for an appropriate level of training and skills.

As a reminder, the Security Service of Ukraine has successfully eliminated the Russian chief of staff of the Black Sea Fleet missile ships, Valery Trankovsky. He died as a result of an explosion in his car. We also reported that Russian ships in the Black Sea are now unable to shell Ukrainian cities.
