Soldiers of the Odesa 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign repelled an enemy assault in the Toretsk axis Only one stormtrooper survived and surrendered. He turned out to be a mercenary from Egypt.

This was reported by the press service of the brigade.

New tactics of the occupiers

The military say the enemy has changed its tactics. When attempts to break through in small groups failed, the Russians began to increase the number of assault troops to 20 people. For example, during a recent assault, a group of invaders made their way to the positions of the brigade's 2nd Mechanized Battalion, but immediately came under heavy fire.

"Constantly changing positions and using the entire available arsenal, the knights destroyed part of the group. One occupier managed to get into a trench with his comrade-in-arms, but he was quickly smoked out by grenades. And, eventually, he was eliminated," the fighters say.

A guest from Egypt

Some of the enemy stormtroopers tried to escape, but almost all of them were eliminated. Only one member of the group surrendered. He turned out to be an Egyptian citizen, so the Ukrainian military had to communicate with him in sign language. In the video, the soldiers can be heard asking the prisoner to button up so that he does not get cold.

Earlier, the Odesa Knights showed how to destroy enemy reconnaissance drones. Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi showed the destruction of Russian occupiers at the front.
