Increased danger — Russia increased its presence in the Black Sea
By the end of the week, Russia is increasing threats from the Black Sea. Despite the storm warning, the enemy has put warships on duty, one of which is equipped with Kalibr.
The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported it.
How many ships are on duty
There are two Russian ships in the Black Sea. One of them is equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles with a total volley of up to four missiles. No enemy ships were spotted in the Sea of Azov, but there is considerable activity in the Mediterranean Sea: 6 ships, of which 2 are Kalibr missile carriers with the capability to launch up to 22 missiles.
Traffic by sea did not stop
Throughout the day, Russian vessels were moving through the Kerch Strait: three vessels entered the Black Sea and one continued to the Bosphorus. At the same time, 3 vessels sailed into the Sea of Azov, heading from the Bosphorus.
Violation of the International Convention
The Russian Federation continues to ignore international agreements, in particular the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), by disabling automatic ship identification systems, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes. This poses serious risks to civilian shipping and maritime safety.
As a reminder, the Russians are trying to protect the Crimean Bridge from Ukrainian drones in an intensified mode.
We also wrote that the enemy is no longer trying to transport cargo to Crimea by Sea.
