According to the SSU, the enemy special services drew attention to the man because of his pro-Russian comments in Telegram channels. The suspect was briefed by the FSB. The investigation believes that he drove his own car around the city and surrounding areas and covertly recorded locations where he believed there could be military personnel and equipment of the Defense Forces. In addition, the detainee tried to solicit information from colleagues and acquaintances.

During the search, SSU officers seized the detainee's phone with a pre-installed Telegram channel, through which he communicated with the FSB. The man was served with a notice of suspicion for the illegal dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He faces up to 12 years in prison.

The relevant authorities also took comprehensive measures to secure the locations of the Armed Forces.

As a reminder, an Odesa resident who tried to blow up an administrative building was detained in Kyiv. Also, the commander of the Special Operations Forces was arrested in Odesa — the investigation believes that he was leaking information to the enemy.
