A contract soldier found a grenade and was carrying it with him in his car. Law enforcement officers found the ammunition and sent the man to the bench trial.

Details of the case
The man serves under contract as an anti-aircraft gunner in a missile platoon. He found the body and fuse of a GHO-1 grenade, which were suitable for use. The soldier put the ammunition in the glove compartment of his car.
At night, the police stopped the gunner's car and during the inspection found a grenade.
What did the court decide
The accused entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor. Therefore, he was sentenced to one year of service restriction. This means that during this time, 10% of the military's financial support will be deducted in favor of the state. The man must also reimburse UAH 3.1 thousand in procedural costs.
It should be reminded that in the Odesa region, a military man was tried for shooting in the middle of the city. In Odesa, a sailor was tried for walking around the city with a knife.
