The information circulating online that Russians are allegedly building fortifications on the administrative border of Crimea and Kherson region has not yet been confirmed. But if this is really happening, it is not surprising. After all, the enemy realizes that the situation at the front may change.

This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, on Ranok.LIVE.

Preparing for defense

The construction of defensive positions on the border of Crimea and Kherson region was reported by Ukrainian partisans from the ATES movement and monitoring channels. However, Pletenchuk believes that this information needs to be verified. At the same time, it is obvious that the enemy takes into account the threat. Even though the Russian Federation has included Kherson region in its constitution, the Russian command is not sure that it will be able to hold the occupied territories.

"They were also preparing for a sea landing. And they have repeatedly been forced to restore their positions on the coast because they were periodically washed away. Therefore, we can only note that the enemy is preparing for defensive actions," said Pletenchuk.

Also, according to the military, the Russians are actively strengthening the security of the Crimean bridge.

Earlier, we told you how real the threat of a new Russian offensive in Mykolaiv region is. We also wrote about the current state of the Crimean bridge defense.
