Bunker school — an anti-radiation shelter will be built near Odesa for $2.8 million
The Department for Communal Property Management of the Dachne Village Council has announced an auction for the construction of a shelter for the local lyceum No. 2. They are ready to pay $2.8 million for the finished project.

What is going to be built
According to the tender documents, it is not just a shelter, but a dual-purpose building with the properties of an anti-radiation shelter for a general secondary education institution. In fact, it is a bunker in which people can stay completely autonomous for up to 48 hours thanks to life support systems. Protection against:
• effects of ionizing radiation due to radioactive pollution;
• air shock wave action from the side effects of mass destruction weapons;
• effects of an air shock wave when using conventional means of destruction;
• penetration by fragments of conventional means of destruction;
• effects of high temperatures and combustion products during fires.
The shelter is designed for 650 people.
The auction will be held on October 18, and the work should be completed by the end of next year.
