The number of buildings damaged by the Russian missile attack on Odesa on November 26 has increased. The city services are in the process of cleaning up the consequences of the enemy attack.

This was reported by the Department of Municipal Economy of Odesa City Council on Tuesday, November 26.

Damaged buildings

According to municipal officials, 25 residential apartment buildings, 4 administrative buildings, and 1 non-residential structure were damaged. In the high-rise buildings, 269 apartments sustained damage.  

"A total of 512 windows in residents' homes and 135 windows in common areas were shattered. Roof damage has already been recorded on two buildings, covering an estimated area of over 670 square meters," the department reported.  

According to the Director of the Department of Education and Science, Olena Buinevych, Lyceum No. 62 was also affected. Windows were shattered, and classrooms were damaged.

Odesa under attack

On the afternoon of November 26, Russians attacked Odesa with an Iskander ballistic missile. Eleven people were injured. One of the women is in serious condition — she has an abdominal injury. Read our article about how people at the site survived the attack.
